A quick entry point for nursing and midwifery resources

Nurses and midwives comprise nearly 50% of the world’s health workforce and are on the front line providing health care in all reaches of the globe. WHO Resolution 64.7 gives WHO the mandate to develop and strengthen strategies such as building the capacity of the nursing and midwifery workforce through the provision of support to Member States on developing targets, action plans and forging strong interdisciplinary health teams, as well as strengthening the dataset on nursing and midwifery. With this resolution in mind, the Nursing and Midwifery Resource Centre provides important links to guidelines, documents, and resources that are important to the regulation, education, and practice of nursing and midwifery.
